Job Description

Demonstrating significant year on year growth, this well-established manufacturing organisation is currently seeking experienced Welders with previous experience of MIG welding.

Responsibilities:

• Weld/Fabricate steel component parts
• Read and understand engineering drawings
• Use disc grinder to smooth out, weld, or grind parts prior to welding.
• Ensure that all works carried comply with quality procedures
• Work as part of a team to develop continuous improvement
• Ensure compliance to all site policies & procedures

Criteria:

• Previous experience of MIG Welding to a high standard
• Previous experience working in a heavy manufacturing/engineering environment
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Proven measurement and mathematical skills

Hours are 41.5 per week with an early finish on Fridays.

Salary is in the region of £13 - 15 /hr depending on experience plus overtime is available at an uplifted rate. There is also an extensive benefits package to include pension, healthcare and life assurance.
