Technical Administrator

Job Description

Our client is a well-established food business in the Co Down area who are going through a period of expansion and now have a new position for a Technical Administrator who is seeking a challenging and varied role to join them.

The successful candidate will assist and support the Technical, Quality and NPD team in the strategic development of their department.

Responsibilities:

• Maintaining and developing the Technical, Quality and NPD administration requirements. Management of complaints
• Management of product and packaging specifications
• Maintaining and completing traceability audits
• Organising sample lists for Laboratory Testing
• Maintaining Supplier Non Conformance reporting and ensuring other departments involved report back in a timely fashion.
• Process control paperwork review
• Supplier approval information updates
• Preparing reports for the Technical Manager and customers.

Criteria:

• Proven Experience in a similar role within food production
• Excellent team working skills
• Food qualification and an understanding of HACCP are highly desirable
