Job Description

Energis is currently recruiting a Supply Chain Planner for our manufacturing client who are going through a significant period of growth. Based in Drogheda, the role will work closely with the Senior Supply Chain Planner ensuring that the company's supply chain is efficient and effective in meeting business needs.

This is initially an 11 month contract role with the distinct possibility of becoming permanent. This role offers the opportunity for hybrid working.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in creating and maintaining a supply plan, ensuring on-time delivery of products.
• Monitor inventory levels and provide recommendations on inventory management strategies.
• Participate in regular meetings with cross-functional teams to review demand forecasts and supply chain performance.
• Work closely with the Production, Logistics, and Purchasing teams to ensure that production plans are aligned with inventory levels and demand forecasts.
• Analyse data and prepare reports on supply chain performance and KPIs.
• Assist in identifying and implementing process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs in the supply chain.
• Assist in developing and implement contingency plans in the event of supply disruptions.
• Adapt supply planning to incorporate any market challenges including production constraints, shipping schedules and seasonal transit lead-times etc.
• Release distribution requirement orders to the factory for replenishment of global warehouses.
• Highlight opportunities to minimise excess and obsolescence
• Provide reporting of any potential service level risk to regional supply chain managers, assisting with decisions around allocation and resolution back to inventory policy.
• Assist on maintaining MRP fields up to date and managing changes requests.

Criteria:

• 2 - 3 + years experience in supply chain-related role, preferably supply planning.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with large datasets and identify trends and insights.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, experience working with ERP or MRP systems.
• Knowledge of supply chain management concepts and best practices.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Customer centric approach.

Salary is in the region of €45k.
