Senior Quality Technician

Job Description

Based in Co Fermanagh, our client operates in the construction sector and is currently seeking a Senior Quality Technician to join their existing technical team.

This is a full time permanent role and an excellent opportunity for an ambitious quality professional to further their career within a busy, well established team. There is also the option of working from their Co Antrim based site with visits to Fermanagh.

Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day laboratory operations ensuring thorough sampling, testing and analysis
• Interpretation and reporting of results.
• Develop, analyse and optimise products to achieve highest quality while minimising cost and waste and maximising sustainability credentials.
• Research and develop new sustainable materials and processes.
• Ensure company compliance with relevant environmental permits/consents and all applicable British Standards leading the external audits where required.
• Prepare reports by collecting, analysing, and summarising data; making recommendations, measure, test and inspect components.
• Lead and report on the carbon footprint of the business, propose initiatives and implement strategies to reduce this.
• Assessing, analysing, and collating environmental performance data and reporting information; ensure the company is compliant with all legislative requirements.
• Designing and implementing efficient systems, policies, and procedures.

Criteria:

• Minimum 2- 3 years' relevant quality experience within a manufacturing environment
• Experience in effectively manage systems and processes, with a proven track record in making improvements
• IT literate
• Professional with proven ability to influence at all levels.
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Highly articulate with excellent interpersonal skills
• Strong customer focus
• Attention to detail

Salary on offer is in the region of £30-35k depending upon experience. The role comes with an excellent benefits package including life insurance, healthcare cash scheme and pension.
