Energis is recruiting for a Senior Mechanical Engineer on behalf of our client based in Co Armagh. They are a well established manufacturing business who have gone from strength to strength and have an international client base.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Engineer offering progression into a managerial position.

Responsibilities:

• Provide a link between Design and Production
• Coaching and mentoring of the Design team members, review and identify training requirements.
• Prepare product drawings using Solidworks
• Maintain up to date documentation records

Criteria:

• A minimum 4-5 years experience of mechanical design within a manufacturing environment
• Ideally experience of leading / mentoring more junior members of staff

• Previous experience of Solidworks
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate across all levels of the business
• Able to work with minimal supervision and manage time
• Ideally third level engineering qualification

Salary is in the region of £35k.
