Sales Executive

Job Description

Based in Co Antrim, our client operates within the construction sector and is currently seeking a Sales Executive to join their growing team.

Reporting into the Sales Manager, the successful Sales Executive will take a proactive approach, which will involve liaising with customers via telephone and email.

Candidates with previous sales experience in any discipline will be considered.

Job responsibilities:

• Maximise sales opportunities, deal with enquiries and convert to orders
• Ensure that customer enquiries are priced accurately and responded to in the agreed timeframe. Record enquiries on the CRM system and ensure these are followed up to win orders at the agreed sales margin.
• Provide accurate information to Planning, Production, Quality/Technical and Despatch to ensure that customer requirements and timeframes are met.
• Attend exhibitions and trade shows representing the company when required.

Criteria:

• Previous experience within sales and customer service environment.
• Ability to deal professionally with customers/clients.
• Good time management, interpersonal skills, and the ability to work as part of a busy team.
• Excellent organisational skills and clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office programmes.

Salary is negotiable depending upon experience and in the region of £25k.
