Sales Coordinator

Our client is a well established manufacturing company in Co Tyrone who are currently in the market for an additional Sales Coordinator to join their team.

Duties will include accurate order entry and acknowledgment, through to scheduling on time dispatch of available finished goods. You will ensure customers are kept informed of delivery schedules and respond promptly to any customer questions.

This is a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction in a busy engineering environment. As such applicants should have similar relevant experience in a customer service, admin or sales support role within engineering / manufacturing or similar environment.

Responsibilities:

• Building and maintaining excellent customer relations, promptly responding to customers by phone and email.
• Enter incoming sales orders into the MRP system ensuring accuracy of all information is maintained.
• Interact internally with sales, planning and production teams to communicate customer expectations and gather information needed to respond to customers.
• Provide customers with regular updates on order status.
• Liaise with dispatch & warehouse team to sequence dispatch of finished goods
• Arrange courier collections of finished goods.

Criteria:

• Previous customer service / administrative experience within engineering / manufacturing environment
• Good standard of IT literacy
• Knowledge of MRP systems
• Good time management, communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work deadlines as part of a team to achieve company objectives.

Salary is in the region of £25 – 30k depending upon experience, package includes healthcare, flexible working hours and an early Friday finish!
