Based near Dungannon, our manufacturing client is currently seeking a Quality Technician to join their team with the objective of driving quality through all aspects of the business.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Quality Technician to gain experience within a forward thinking manufacturing business. Some previous relevant experience in quality is essential, however relevant training will also be given.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive quality ensuring that systems, procedures, and policies are adhered to whilst striving for continuous improvement.
  • Working within the quality function on various quality assurance activities such as parts and process inspection.
  • Ensure all machines are tested prior to dispatch.
  • Work alongside the Production manager to resolve any quality issues arising in the factory.
  • Providing guidance on Quality related matters to other parts of the company.
  • Assist with the return of defective goods (internal and warranty) to the supply chain.
  • Report on the performance of the Internal Quality process.

Criteria:

  • Previous quality experience within a manufacturing environment
  • Self-motivated, can prioritise and plan workloads
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
  • Results focussed with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good IT skills, in particular MS Office

This is a full time, permanent role with an hourly rate between £14 – 17 /hr depending upon experience.

Hours of work are:

Mon – Thurs 7.30 – 4.45pm

Friday 7.30-1pm.
