Based in Co Antrim, our client operates within the construction sector and is currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their growing team.

The successful Project Manager will manage a number of civil projects, from inception through to handover to business, ensuring the delivery of specified products and services within agreed time, quality and cost parameters. You will develop key relationships with project stakeholders, and will contribute to award-winning projects across the UK and Ireland.

Job responsibilities:

  • Provide the key point of contact for customers during all stages of the project delivery.
  • Work closely with the relevant departments regarding all aspects of the project including health & safety, quality, procurement, production, sales, technical, storage, delivery, offloading and installation.
  • Plan for upcoming projects, create timelines, and establish relevant documentation for project works to be carried out e.g., method statements, risk assessments, COSHH assessments, lift and/or installation plans.
  • Provide technical guidance regarding specialised works to production teams as required including steel fixing, joinery, and concrete production.
  • Supervise key stages of live projects to ensure all requirements are being met, ensuring effective communication with relevant stakeholders and monitoring project progression against projected plan and costs.
  • Work closely with planning & procurement teams regarding bills of quantities for the project (plant/labour/materials).
  • Ongoing monitoring of project costs to ensure margin expectations are met.

Criteria:

  • Third level education or equivalent experience in engineering/construction/quantity surveying or similar
  • Track record of successful management and delivery of projects.
  • Experience of successful partnership working, relationship development and management.
  • Quantity Surveying and experience working on large contracts would be beneficial.

Salary is negotiable depending upon experience and in the region of £40 – 55k. The role comes with an excellent benefits package including bonus, life insurance, healthcare and pension.
