Project Coordinator

Job Description

Based near Dungannon, our manufacturing client is currently seeking a Project Coordinator to coordinate personnel and processes to achieve the effective distribution and installation of products.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Project Coordinator to gain experience within a forward thinking manufacturing business.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations
• Supervise orders and arrange stocking of raw materials and equipment
• Communicate with suppliers, retailers, customers etc.
• Plan and track the shipment of final products according to customer requirements
• Keep logs and records of warehouse stock, executed orders etc.
• Prepare accurate reports for management team.
• Organising machinery for offloading of goods i.e Cranes and forklifts
• Complete importation / exportation / transportation documentation
• Organising transport for incoming and outgoing product including full loads, groupage and specialised transport of heavy machinery.
• Quoting shipping costs for customers pre-sale
• Updating and maintaining accuracy of project management software
• Managing incoming and outgoing machine specific documentation
• Continual development of machinery and installation technical understanding
• Plan and monitor engineers travel and onsite tasks

Criteria:

• Previous relevant experience within a manufacturing / engineering environment
• Good IT skills: Microsoft Office including Excel, PowerPoint, Word etc.
• Flexible to travel to client sites as required
• Basic understanding of hydraulic and electrical components
• Self-motivated, can prioritise and plan workloads
• Excellent communication skills

Salary is in the region of £23 - 27k depending on experience.

Hours of work are:

Mon – Thurs 8am – 5pm

Friday 8am-2.30pm.
