Production Supervisor

Job Description

Energis is working closely with a well-established and expanding food business in the Co Down. They now have a new position for a Production Supervisor who will assist the Production Manager in ensuring production deadlines are met by planning, scheduling, executing, and directing production activities.

Responsibilities:

• Identify opportunities to optimise and improve production efficiencies
• Supervision of the production operative team, planning staffing schedules and ensuring relevant training where necessary
• Drive performance with a focus on yield, quality and costs
• Implement and monitor hygiene best practice throughout the site
• Enforcement of Health and Safety guidelines

Criteria:

• Previous similar experience in a food production environment
• Flexibility to work some weekends as required
• Strong leadership skills
• Knowledge of food safety legislation, quality processes and HACCP highly advantageous
• Be highly self-motivated with the ability to create a teamwork culture
