Production Manager - Food

Job Description

Energis is recruiting for an experienced Production Manager to join a leading food production company based in Dungannon.

The successful Production Manager will have a key focus on people management, Health & Safety and maintaining exceptional product quality.

Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day operations to ensure all products meet strict quality and safety standards.
• Oversee production schedules and resource allocation to meet targets and deadlines.
• Identify and implement initiatives to enhance production efficiency, reduce downtime, and optimise costs.
• Foster a safety-first culture, ensuring compliance with Health & Safety regulations
• Implement and monitor best practices in food safety, hygiene, and quality control in line with company policies and industry regulations.
• Develop and implement training programs to ensure staff are well-versed in HSE and quality standards.

Criteria:

• Proven experience in a production management role within the food production industry.
• Working knowledge of Health & Safety regulations with a track record of maintaining high safety standards.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate production teams, with strong problem-solving capabilities.
• Effective communication and leadership skills, with a focus on driving team performance
• Expertise in managing high-quality standards

Salary is in the region of £35-50k depending upon experience.
