We have an exciting new role for an experienced Product Project Manager to work for our client, a fast paced manufacturing company based in Drogheda.

The successful Product Project Manager will effectively manage a portfolio of projects through the full project life cycle to launch, taking responsibility for the efficient management and delivery of multiple projects and their associated integrated activities and phases.

This role will focus on identifying process and policy gaps, deficiencies, and areas for improvement to create a more strategic plan for product related operations activities.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in the delivery, management and evaluation of Product Project Management. Candidates with a background in R&D are also of interest. This role offers the opportunity for hybrid working.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage & coordinate multiple product development projects across new formats, product changes/enhancements simultaneously, on time within budget and within scope.
  • Define, communicate & validate each stage of the product pipeline with senior leadership and cross-functionally to provide visibility and transparency on variances/changes
  • Develop internal business partnerships and manage interfaces with all business functions including R&D, Sales, Operations etc
  • Run Supply project team meetings to ensure successful completion of tasks and projects are on track.
  • Use appropriate project management tools to manage activity and ensure projects are reviewed at appropriate governance forums
  • Review on a continuous basis project risks, financial deliverables, timings and other metrics
  • Co-ordinate internal stakeholder, resources and third parties for the successful execution of multiple projects.
  • Ensure efficient resource availability and allocation to projects.
  • Ensure quality project standards are met through the effective implementation or use of approved processes, methodologies and deliverables.

Criteria:

  • Degree in relevant technical or business-related subject e.g. Engineering, Business, Science, Production Management.
  • Minimum 3 years project management experience, ideally in high-volume / FMCG manufacturing environment
  • Project management qualification is highly desirable
  • Ability to effectively interact and influence on tactical and strategic issues with all levels of management
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Proven track record working effectively with cross functional teams.
  • Excellent communications, time management, organisation, and presentation skills.

Salary is in the region of €60 - 65k plus a generous benefits package to include bonus and pension.
