Mechanical Project Engineer

Job Description

Our client is a busy engineering company in the Greater Belfast area who have an immediate opening for a Mechanical Project Engineer. The successful Project Engineer will work to deliver multiple projects simultaneously, and must be a strong analytical thinker with good problem solving capabilities.

The Role

• Provide engineering support to deliver projects
• Procurement of equipment and materials
• Reporting project status to clients
• Collate technical data for handover documentation
• Liaise with Clients and Suppliers
• Liaise and coordinate with work crews
• Coordination of safety and specialist equipment inspections

Criteria:

• Qualified to third level in mechanical engineering
• Ability to manage multiple projects
• Post-graduate experience in design and/or fabrication desirable
• Excellent communication skills

Salary is in the region of £30-35k depending on experience.
