Energis is recruiting a Finance Analyst on behalf of our Co Louth based client who operate in the manufacturing sector. As the successful Finance Analyst you will support the Finance Business Partner to drive business performance, including the analysis and presentation of financial data.

You will take ownership of business financial performance and will have significant interaction with the senior leadership team. As such strong interpersonal and communication skills are required.

This role offers hybrid working.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly financial reports and variance analysis, comparing actuals to latest forecast, budget, and prior year, understanding the underlying monthly variances and performance trends.
  • Identify key actions to address variances and work with colleagues to resolve.
  • Support the Budget and Forecast 3YP, identifying risks and opportunities.
  • Support the acquisition of new retailers and distributors
  • Provide ad-hoc commercial finance support to various business projects as required
  • Perform monthly financial reconciliations across Revenue and key cost lines to understand the drivers of business performance.
  • Build strong relationships with senior managers and their teams
  • Prepare financial analysis of prospective new customer and product opportunities,
  • Pro-actively highlight opportunities for financial process improvements.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with minimum 1+ year PQE.
  • Previous FP&A experience
  • Solid understanding of commercial, financial, and accounting concepts.
  • Experience reporting into senior management.
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills with the ability to manage several priorities at once.
  • Strong IT skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail with experience working to tight deadlines.

Basic salary is in the region of €60-65k plus bonus giving a possible earning potential of up to €80k. Benefits also include pension and healthcare.
