Electrical Design Engineer

Job Description

On behalf of our client, a world leading manufacturing company in their sector, Energis is seeking applications for the post of Electrical Design Engineer.

Working from our client site in Co Tyrone, you will create, design and test electrical schematics tailored to each customers requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate electrical systems, products, components, and applications by designing and conducting research programs.
• Confirms systems and components capabilities by designing testing methods; testing properties.
• Develop electrical products by studying customer requirements; researching and testing manufacturing and assembly methods and materials.
• Develop manufacturing processes by designing and modifying equipment for building and assembling electrical components; soliciting observations from operators.
• Assure product quality by designing electrical testing methods; testing finished products and system capabilities.
• Prepare product reports by collecting, analysing, and summarizing information and trends
• Provides engineering information by answering questions and request

Criteria:

• HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering or proven relevant experience.
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Experience with design software - AutoCad, Solidworks
• Experience of drafting to electrical standards.

Salary is in the region of £35 - 45k depending on experience, with a comprehensive benefits package including pension and health cash plan.
