Design Engineer

Job Description

Energis is recruiting for an experienced Design Engineer on behalf of our client, a leading manufacturing business based in Co Antrim.

The successful Design Engineer will work as part of an existing design team, developing ideas for new products and systems, with the aim of improving the performance and efficiency of existing products.

Responsibilities:

• Producing production specifications and engineering drawings
• Consistently produce high quality designs, designing bespoke products according to client requirements
• Liaising with production and re-engineering designs with the aim of improving manufacturing time.
• Presenting engineering reports on various areas of design

Criteria:

• Good knowledge of 2D and 3D design software
• Previous experience of design for manufacture
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Strong team player
• Excellent communication skills
• Third level engineering qualification is highly desirable

Salary is negotiable depending upon experience and will be discussed upon application.
