Customs Project Lead

Job Description

Energis is currently recruiting for a Customs Project Lead to join our clients expanding customs division based near Belfast.

Reporting to the Group Customs Manager you will participate in key decision making for the Division.

You should have a track record working on various projects within logistics or customs, and will work alongside the Customs Manager on major projects, while completing other schemes and driving improvements.

Criteria:

• Familiarity with AEO, ISO or other QMS
• Ability to design and maintain workflows and procedures
• Track record of working with teams on transport projects
• Knowledge of International Trade
• Team player with a high attention to detail and experience in completing Custom Declarations
• Able to work on their own initiative but to take direction in a cooperative environment
• Good communicator with ability to liaise with stakeholders of all levels
• Strong IT skills in Microsoft Office, spreadsheets &, Databases
• Level 3 Customs qualification or equivalent is highly desirable

Salary on offer is in the region of £32 – 39k depending upon experience plus Life Assurance, Service day Holidays and a Cash Health Plan
