Job Description

Energis is recruiting on behalf of a specialist consultancy firm who work with their clients as an extension of their team, providing skills and expertise exactly when they need it most. They are now seeking an experienced Business Consultant to join their team in Co Armagh.

The role is for a talented business professional to assist clients with the development of strategic plans, business plans, funding applications and project appraisals in both the public and private sector.

The Role

• Deliver a range of successful projects with clients primarily in the public sector
• Undertake business plan assessments and project appraisals and evaluations.
• Generate evidence-based strategies that set direction and drive change for clients
• Develop business plans to support client investment activities
• Write creative business narrative to support funding applications

Criteria:

• Minimum 3-5 years consulting or industry experience in a management role.
• Experience in strategic business writing.
• Excellent project management skills.
• Self-motivated, with the skills to lead a project and team with minimal supervision.
• Strong IT skills.
• Previous experience working with / within the public sector
• Ability to interact confidently and professionally at senior management level.
• Experience in the use of five case business case methodology and grant application writing skills would be an advantage.
