Accounts Payable Supervisor

Job Description

Based in Co Monaghan, Energis is recruiting an Accounts Payable Supervisor to work with our thriving manufacturing client who operate at an international level and supply some of the world’s largest retailers.

This role will take responsibility for both the Accounts Payable and Banking functions, and will report into the Financial Controller.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and Manage the Banking and Accounts Payable teams
• Maintain and develop efficient and controlled invoice processing and payment procedures
• Develop Accounts Payable Reporting Timetable
• Complete daily cash report for Ireland and UK
• Process all payments on the various banking systems
• Post all payments and direct debits on system
• Post leasing invoices and ensure supplier account is cleared down
• Reconciliation of direct debits and finance accounts
• Daily and Monthly reconciliations of the bank accounts for Ireland and UK
• Planning and Posting Fx deals for sterling accounts
• Generate End of Day Cash Flow Report
• Generate and Manage Cash Flow Projections and Actuals on a weekly basis
• Management of Petty Cash transactions for Ireland and UK

Criteria:

• Relevant accounting qualification (Accounts Degree/Accounts Technician) or be working towards it
• Minimum 2-3 years accounts experience
• Excellent financial acumen and commercial awareness
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Excellent leadership skills

Salary is in the region of €36 – 39k depending on experience.
