Job Description

Energis is currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant for our client, a successful local manufacturing company based in Co Antrim.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a busy working environment to further their accounts experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the office manager in producing daily sales invoices, monthly VAT returns, bank lodgements and month end reports.
• Maintaining the company purchase ledger system.
• Allocating of receipts to debtors and payments to general ledger accounts.
• Additional office duties including answering the telephone and dealing with queries from suppliers and customer orders.

Essential requirements:

• At least 2 years working in a similar role
• Excellent attention to detail
• Experience working to and meeting deadlines
• Competent with Sage Accounts and Microsoft Office applications i.e., Word, Outlook and Excel

Salary is in the region of £24 / 25k + bonus and an early finish on Friday!
