A good CV should contain:
• Name
• Contact details
• Technical skills summary
• Education, including dates and
  academic institute
• Courses/certificates: eg
   NEBOSH certificates etc
• Work experience – this should
  be ordered chronologically with
  most recent position first.

Always include the dates, company name and job title. Responsibilities should be bullet pointed to make it easy for potential employers to pick out key skills and experience. Interests – brief and to the point, simply to give the employer an idea of the kind of person you are.

An interview is a two way process designed for you to find out information about the role and company, as much for the potential employer to find out if you are the right person for them. We will talk you through the interview process, how best to present yourself and provide as much information as possible in order to secure the offer!

Contact your consultant as soon as possible after the interview. It is better we have your feedback before speaking with the company to establish your interest in the role.  
We will provide constructive criticism where necessary when it comes to CVs and interview techniques. We will endeavour to provide you with feedback following interview – it is important to know where you went right (and wrong!) in order to improve your interview skills for the future.
