Treasury Accountant

Job Description

Based in the outskirts of Belfast, our client is a successful business with a diverse range of interests who are now seeking a Treasury Accountant to join their finance team.

Reporting into the Group Financial Controller, the successful Accountant will monitor cash flow and control money transmission tools including managing bank accounts, maintaining financial records and performing banking operations.

This role offers hybrid working opportunities.

The role:

• Acting as the lead contact for stakeholders to manage cashflow and queries
• Reviewing and developing the treasury management processes to keep these efficient and effective
• Completing month end reconciliations and providing resolutions to any issues that may arise
• Producing reports and forecasts on cash flow and presenting these to the senior stakeholders

Criteria:

• Experience working within a similar role and dealing with cashflow
• Excellent communication skills and proven experience working with stakeholders of various levels
• Strong MS Excel skills
• Ideally a relevant accounting qualification

Salary on offer is in the region of £45 – 55k depending upon experience.
