Quality Assurance Manager

Job Description

Energis is currently recruiting an experienced Quality Assurance Manager for our food manufacturing client based in Drogheda.

Responsibilities:

• Own, maintain and improve certified quality management system
• Be the site champion for quality
• Internal auditing to ISO/FSSC standards
• HACCP team lead
• Manage incoming inspections programme
• Carry out daily quality control checks
• Hygiene and food safety auditing
• Involvement in new product development
• Staff training – QA procedures and hygiene
• Raw material supplier approval
• Specifications writing, approval and upkeep for raw materials and finished goods
• Liaise with customer services team on customer complaint investigations

Criteria:

• Minimum 3^rd level qualification in a Food related subject with min 4 years FMCG experience in a quality role
• Robust understanding of Food Safety and Quality Management Systems (FSSC22000 & BRC)
• Ability to work on one’s own initiative as well as part of a team
• Driven to continuously improve
• Proven leadership skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent IT skills
• Attention to detail

Salary is in the region of €45 - 50k plus bonus scheme with the potential to earn a package of €55k.
