Insurance Litigation Executive, Belfast, Up to £30k.Top commercial law firm in Belfast wishes to recruit an experienced Litigation assistant for their busy law firm based in the City Centre.

This role is critical to maintaining the highest standard of client service through the provision of accurate and timely

data. The postholder will develop and maintain systems which capture appropriate data and produce detailed

management information. This role is also responsible for auditing compliance within firm-wide quality standards

and escalating issues where appropriate.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with Partners and clients to understand departmental contracts and Service Level Agreements and determine the management information required
  • Design and implement efficient processes to capture appropriate data from staff across the department
  • Produce regular, timely reports for internal and external audiences
  • To analyse management information, identifying trends and raising issues as appropriate
  • To manage the data interface for specific client agreements and ensure the timely submission of required returns
  • To design and implement systems which assist with monitoring individual SLA compliance
  • Maintaining client databases
  • To ensure staff are appropriately informed of revisions or additions to SLAs and/or new quality system procedures and assist staff with compliance queries, as required.
  • Provide support and expertise on management reporting
  • Working with the finance department to produce aged debt reports for clients
  • Act as first point of contact for client queries regarding management information and firm-wide processes
  • Supporting Fee Earners with general file management
  • Supporting the leaver’s process including monitoring inboxes to ensure any correspondence is addressed
  • Support Fee Earners with tender applications, capturing data and identifying areas of duplication
  • To carry out timely and thorough internal audits which ensure compliance with externally recognized Quality standards including ISO14001, ISO9001, ISO27001 and Lexcel V5
  • Undertaking office duties including file opening and payments and receipts
  • Compliance with relevant policies and procedures including Finance, Health & Safety and Human Resources

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Essential Criteria

  • Experience of working in an insurance / insurance litigation environment
  • Strong IT skills
  • Ability to manipulate data in Excel and produce reports
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Flexible in their approach with a desire to improve and deliver efficiencies

Desirable

  • Understanding of Insurance Litigation legal processes
