Electrical Technician

Job Description

Based near Lisburn our client is fast paced manufacturing company who have a requirement for an experienced Electrical Technician to build and wire a range of complex control panels.

Following internally produced wiring diagrams, you will build panels and assemble components, ensuring all work is carried out to the highest quality standards.

You will also assist other departments with any issues, seeking to control costs and reduce waste whilst helping develop better methods of work to facilitate a more efficient panel building process.

Criteria:

• Minimum of ONC/D, NVQ or City and Guilds Level 2 in Electrical Engineering or equivalent plus 2 years' experience working within an electrical field, including wiring control panels
• Ability to understand and interpret complex wiring diagrams
• Excellent communication skills
• The ability to work efficiently and accurately with a high degree of attention to detail

Hours of Work: Monday - Thursday 8.30 am to 5.00 pm and Friday 8.30 am to 4.00 pm.

In return you will be offered a challenging role with salary in the region of £25 – 27k plus benefits including bonus, overtime pay, healthcare and pension.
