Contract Manager

Job Description

Based near Belfast, our client is a well-established engineering company who provide services to a number of high profile clients across Ireland. They now have an opening for an experienced Contract Manager with industrial experience to join team.

Reporting into the Contract Director, the successful applicant will oversee a number of engineering contracts, managing the ongoing service provision for an existing client base.

Responsibilities:

• Liaise and coordinate with client
• Liaise with Maintenance Supervisor and mobile maintenance team
• Maintain good working relations with client managers
• Maintain high level of compliance and achieve high KPI scores
• Monthly reporting to client
• Technical support to client and maintenance team
• Liaise with finance and administration team in preparation of costs
• Preparation of competitive quotations
• Implement rolling continuous improvement programme

Criteria:

• Third level engineering qualification, ideally Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 5 years project/contract management experience
• Experience in contract administration
• Ability to handle multiple projects
• Knowledge of safe systems of work in the construction and industrial maintenance sectors
• Experience within water / waste water sectors is highly advantageous

Salary is in the region of £47k plus benefits including performance bonus and pension.
