Our client is a global FMCG business with a multi-million pound turnover and are now recruiting for an Account Executive to join their office in Co Monaghan.

This role will add value by supporting the day to day management of the Account Managers, allowing them to focus on business objectives.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Marketing / Business graduate + 1 – 2 years to gain experience and develop your career with a major player in the food sector.

Responsibilities:

  • Account Management and day to day administration duties for the team:
  • Liaise daily with customer supply team on shorts, cover for/from other suppliers and amend the systems where appropriate
  • Price file management to avoid invoice queries
  • Using customer bespoke systems to understand forecast and in-store sales
  • Promotion administration duties, analysis and completion of the pre- promotion forms
  • Ensure labels are accurately checked
  • Support on promotional analysis
  • Organising samples and other requirements for customers
  • Taking phone calls and direct queries as and when appropriate
  • Store audits on a weekly basis, and submitting price baskets to retailers
  • Cover for when the Account Manager is visiting customers, dealing with customer queries in their absence
  • Potentially developing smaller accounts, where the opportunity presents

Criteria:

  • Marketing / Business degree or equivalent with a minimum of 18 months previous relevant experience
  • Understanding and knowledge of the UK/Irish retail market
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks
  • Strong relationship builder internally and externally
  • A good team player and communicator at all levels
  • Analytical and able to demonstrate interpretation of numbers
  • A strong confident communicator who can present internally and externally
  • Able to use advanced Excel and PowerPoint
  • Flexibility to travel to other sites / customer sites
  • A full driving license is essential

Salary is in the region of €20 -28k.
